Feb 1, 2022 · I've seen a bunch of people with similar issues with the EA login box, But none others where the box just isn't there. I'm running an 3440x1440 moniter and i have tried windowed mode, forcing the windows DPI, but i always have the reconnect button in the top right of my screen, if i press it it says connecting then the box closes and the close button appears in the top right.

Ship drifts that direction, and when you try to centre it, or move it right, mouse only goes so far, not even past the midpoint. Ship cannot be controlled.
If you want to do some additional tweaks, you can go into the config file. In Documents\STAR WARS Squadrons\settings\ProfileOptions_profile. For the DirectX12 setting, you also have to enable it in the BootOptions config file in the same folder as ProfileOptions. Also set it to GstRender.EnableDx12 1.

This is using an Xbox controller. If I start the game via the desktop with the keyboard and mouse I can get the VR toggle to activate, but it won’t recognize the Xbox controller Bluetoothed to the quest. If I start it via the desktop with the quest paddles it will recognize the Xbox controller, but when I toggle the VR the screen goes black

Squadrons gives me a satisfying story as a long-time Star Wars expanded universe fan. A relatively self-contained story, the most famous characters aren't seen here, but cameos from the likes of Hera and references to figures that only viewers of the main Star Wars movies wouldn't be aware of kept me interested.

I then start SW:Squadrons through the SteamVR app while in the Quest view using the controllers. This results in SW:Squadrons actually starting to run from Steam on my desktop. Meanwhile in SteamVR in the Quest I enter a void where the SW:Squadrons game is running, where it only shows a SW:Squadrons banner with the text "Next up" underneath it.

The only reason it really sold at all was people like me desperate for Star Wars content and a return of TIE Fighter. This from an idiot who spent a weeks wages on pre-ordering (thanks regional pricing) then to have it appear on EA Play, which made me super happy as well, but that is off subject.

i cant find that in the setting in star wars squadron and in vr. is it on my monitor that? One of the last updates made the option disappear. You have to find the Squadrons folder in your Documents and edit the config file to set HDR to 0. I can't remember which exact file, but google it and you'll find it. i found the method in the guide section.
Squadrons has been out for quite a while. People who played at the started eventually stopped and moved on to other things. A sequel would likely bring back an influx of people interested in said sequel and give you another few months of a broad player base instead of just the diehard holdouts. elusive_1. • 2 yr. ago.
